~experiencing fulfillment in seeing transformation happen in both the natural, your home, and the spiritual, your inner self~ How creating beauty in your home can stimulate inner spiritual growth!

Hidden away, but not forgotten!

Last weekend was our yearly neighborhood yard sale. We were counting down the days waiting for this big event. Last year we went for the first time and came home with some amazing treasures!  We had great expectations for this year also, and we weren’t disappointed!

This was our mystery find...”mystery” in that we had no earthly idea what we were buying, and “find” in that we knew we had something special. I loved the vintage feel of it, and knew it could be used for practical purposes…the perfect combination!  See how it collapses…oh so exciting!

…and how it opens fully, with clips to hold in place…

And check out the wheels, very practical-vintage-industrial…sweeeeeeet! 🙂

Still not sure of it’s purpose for existence, I found a patent # on a tag that hangs at the bottom and googled it…don’t you love this amazing resource…I use it all the time!

I had asked the homeowner if he had any idea of it’s use and he wasn’t sure. By the looks of the cobwebs, it must have sat in his garage neglected for many years…Hidden, but not forgotten!

~Have you ever felt forgotten by God…pushed aside, unwanted, unworthy?

If we’re all honest, we would have to admit having this feeling once in a while. I think it’s hard when we see friends and family, coworkers and associates who are accomplishing so much and seemingly thriving in life!

If that’s you, then get excited because you are on the verge of a breakthrough…just like this industrial treasure that we found…It was set to the side and seemingly had no purpose, but that was only for a season!

God created us for a specific purpose and He will unveil this purpose when the time is right~ He has us hidden away for such a time as this…a treasure ready to be unveiled!

His word says, “My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place.” Ps139:15   ….there is nothing about us that He isn’t fully aware of…

The tag read: Allied Product Company Benicia, CA Pat # 2,942,750

…and for those of you, like me, who had no idea, you’ll be happy to know that it served many women with a great purpose for many years… a laundry clothes basket!!!  (did you guess right?)

Here’s what I’ve done with my antique Allied folding laundry clothes basket…

I’ve had a couple of ideas other than a plant holder, like a pillow and blanket stand or an end table…do you have any suggestions, I’d love to hear from you!  😀

In honor of all the women who’ve selflessly done laundry over the years…

           Happy Mother’s Day

You are loved, and uniquely created for a specific purpose….position yourself for a breakthrough! 🙂

All for Jesus,

Heidi   xoxo

I remember the long years where we felt like we were invisible. Kind of like the laundry basket just sitting there thinking we were off to the side and forgotten. But now….
